I am dedicated to creatively serving and uplifting others.
We all have special gifts and mine is seeing the treasures stored deep inside of people or their ideas - and bringing the essence to light in visually pleasing ways. When I do a painting class, the most common phrase I hear is “I can’t even do a stick figure!” I absolutely LOVE the end of the class, when people are amazed by the discovery of what they can do.
The biggest reward I get from my work is seeing people’s faces light up once a project is complete.

YME Artwork begins with my initials that phonetically say “Why Me?.” This is a question between me and God, keeping me humbly dependent and in the constant pursuit of the purpose behind why He chose to give me the gift of creativity.
Since my formative years, art has been a constant in my life - exploring expression through drawing, painting, sculpting, mosaics and anything that requires a balance between the heart, mind and hands. Earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising from the Art Institute of Atlanta secured a career in Marketing and Graphic Design as I continued to passionately pursue Fine Arts on the side.
Instead of adopting a visual style, my signature is versatility and an open minded approach to solving design challenges. Often described as bold, my work wildly varies depending on the audience and subject matter. The comment that I have frequently heard and hold dear is that people see something new everytime they look at one of my finished pieces. This reflects back to me the intricate way that our Creator operates and keeps me in alignment with the fact that I am here to serve through art.
Everytime I sign YME, it is a stamp of God’s grace which is freely available to all!
